MLM Training: The Importance Of Developing Leaders In Your Business
As Network Marketers, we can never get enough MLM training, so, I thought today would be a good day to share a story with you that will make you understand why developing leaders in your business is very important.
Before jumping back into the arena in 2010, I dabbled quite a bit in Network Marketing. Before 2010, I was one of those who didn’t take MLM seriously and thought that it was too hard to be successful.
Back in 2003, I had joined Ameriplan with a co-worker. Every week, like clock work, we would hold meetings in his home and, on average, we had quite a few people at each meeting. We did this for about 2 months before we decided to stop and look at how many people we’d sponsored. Between him and I together, we sponsored about 50 people.
We Both Could Have Used This MLM Training Back Then…
What I quickly learned was that we were rock stars when it came to MLM recruiting, but we did not have the proper MLM training in place for our downline to plug into. As a result, our organization was stagnant and a lot of them eventually dropped out.
At that time, we thought all we had to do was get them in, and the rest would take care of itself. But as you just read, that wasn’t the case.
MLM Training: What I’ve Learned Since Then…
The keys to building a successful downline is the following…
Duplication – One of the most important factors for a person looking at a MLM opportunity is deciding whether, or not, they feel that they can duplicate your efforts. You want to have your new team members in a position where they’re seeing checks coming in as quickly as possible. The easier it is to duplicate what you’re doing, the better the chances of your new team members having success.
Recognition – When ever a new person joins my team, I introduce them to the rest of the team. Anytime someone accomplishes some sort of achievement in my team, I announce that as well. I think it’s important for us, as leaders, to create a team atmosphere that will give people an incentive to take massive action in their business.
Teamwork – Understand that there are great benefits to being a part of a great team. One thing I like about my team is that everyone has different talents. We put these talents together, collectively, for the betterment of the team. It’s really true when they say that Together Everyone Achieves More.
I’m sure that if you’ve been in Network Marketing for any amount of time, you’ve heard the old cliche, “You’re building a business for yourself, but not by yourself.” This could not be more true when you’re apart of a great team that has great MLM training, along with, one common goal of success for everyone involved.
