Recruiting in MLM is like a box of Chocolates
You never know what your gonna get… In network marketing there is a big difference in recruiting and sponsoring.
Why is that? Well I like to think of recruiting like spaghetti when you throw it up against the wall to see if it sticks. Most people in MLM do this, you see it does matter whether or not you sponsor or recruit someone.. Sponsoring someone to your Network Marketing business is actually taking them under your wing and guiding them to the top. Recruiting is giving them a business and seeing if they stick..
If you are leading with value in your business and establishing your presence as a leader then you are doing it right. If you are leading with your opportunity and giving the person you sponsored a stack of leads and telling them to go spam on Facebook well I wish you luck with that. I say no to SPAM! lol! I sometimes wish people would wake up and stop leaving people such a bad taste in ther mouths about Network Marketing. It ruins it for everyone. Recruiting to your MLM will never build you a life long residual income.. The rate of drop out by recruiting is far more than if you were to sponsor people.
I hope you have enjoyed my post and I look forward to reading your comments. I appreciate your shares because it means you care

April, It’s all true! Too many people recruit and see what sticks. Network Marketing is about sponsoring and building great friendships that will last a lifetime. Friends don’t leave friends. Keep sponsoring and adding value.

April,
You are so right on, persistence, believability, and leadership are keys to success in Network Marketing
Thanks Rusty.. It is true those are the fundamentals for sure…
I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this post. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your creative writing abilities has inspired me to start my own BlogEngine blog now. Really the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up is a fine example of it.
Thanks James
I am going to check out your blog now.. Seems we have much in common!
Hey April!
Great video! Leading by example is key. Share a solution, instead of leading with “ANOTHER” business. Recruiters find people and get them in the game long enough to get paid. However, coaches and sponsors stay with you, coach you, teach you and watch you grow. Some even get excited when you out perform them! That’s what people want!
Keep rockin it!

It sure is Corina.. I appreciate your insight and look forward to a great relationship my new friend
Well said April! Network Marketers need to really hone in on the sponsoring aspect and realize that this is not only a friendship, but a business partnership that has the potential to be long term(creating long term residual income, not make a quick buck) if they do it right. Being present and mentoring others to be the SOLUTION, Great stuff! Thanks for your leadership and words of wisdom!

I am telling you guys are a prime example of sponsorship.. You have a great touch to what you are doing.. I love reading your posts too. Heading over to read yours now
Dear Marie, this is so much to the point its unbelievable, after more then 20 years in the MLM industry i finally hear some one that expresses it out loud, and telling the world that they better become first what they preach before preaching, yes we need to offer solutions and not send people swimming in the sea without teaching them how, people drown and leave the industry with a bad taste in their mouth and that is why MLM got such a bad name, even though it is one of the best industries in the world if not THE best.
I wish there were a lot more people like you, that understand the importance and value of giving people the training and the tools to solve their problems, and yes you never know what you get in having a new “recruit”, but do you know what you really get into when you start anew relationship with any one? in this world?, but there we invest, in any relationship we take the time and we invest even when we get nothing in return, to a new neighbor we bring a cake, we offer help, we can baby sit when they want, so why not in a business relationship where the core of the business is people?????
Thanks for sharing your perspective with the world.
April excellent points especially regarding not leading with your product. It amazes me every day online how many marketers make the amateur mistake and lead with their product before they build any rapport. I feel like those of us who build value (like you said) will be more successful.
I hate to admit it April, but that’s exactly the way I was for a long time. NO MORE!
Thank you April
God bless
